In 2013, the fox valley area community faced a challenge - the need for more sober housing. Through collaboration with community sponsors, sri created solutions house, a sober housing program on the solutions recovery center campus. We've expanded to offer long-term housing for graduates of the 6-month program, with 5 sober living houses and 3 graduated houses. Our program is open to both male and female participants, and we've recently increased our housing capacity by leasing another sober living home and acquiring the christine ann center building. 87% of our graduates who stay involved with solutions recovery remain sober after one year. Since relapse is common, affecting 40-60% of people in their first year, this success rate is a testament to the profound impact of community support
Our comprehensive peer recovery program, in collaboration with the winnebago county health department and the winnebago county jail, is designed to assist individuals on their journey to wellness. Specially trained recovery specialists are available to support county residents and qualifying inmates. Most importantly, our 24-hour hotline is always just a call away, ensuring that individuals can access vital resources and support whenever they need it, day or night, providing a sense of reassurance and security.
