The mission and vision of the organization is to facilitate and improve communication channels and contribute to the well-being of the multiethnic refugee/immigrant community, helping them to achieve self-sufficiency and assisting them in becoming productive law-abiding citizens that can properly integrate for a great patriotism. The SAUC help newly arrived families adjust to their new lives, new location, new language and new culture.

ASA Supplemental Services CTR063495. In collaboration with the RRP, we have provided various services to Afghan clients who arrived in the United States in and after 2021. We welcomed 211 new eligible Afghan clients to our program in 2023, but continued to support the many returning clients. We provided services such as housing assistance; case management; support services and interpretation; digital literacy; preschool and youth leadership; and women empowerment, including professional sewing and employment services. Many Afghans enrolled in our core education classes, including our English class.

Expenses: $373K

Maricopa County Refugee Relocation Program. In collaboration with the Maricopa County Human Services Department, we have supported many multiethnic refugees and underserved communities through housing assistance; case management; support services and interpretation; naturalization and immigration services; Improved Method of Learning English; digital literacy; preschool and youth leadership; and women empowerment, including professional sewing and employment services. We average about 1,000 services per month.

Expenses: $231K

Development of the leadership capacity of Ethnic Community Based Organization (ECBO) leaders. We provide training, coaching, and support to leaders and key people for ten ECBOs; these ethnic organizations serve refugees, asylees and immigrants in the state of Arizona.

International Rescue Committee SBA Navigator Pilot Program - Encouraging, recruiting and training the multiethnic refugee community for small business, assisting them also in the access of information and resources.
