Programs
3 programs
United in health program: the united in health program provides access to healthbased tools and resources for new mexicans. Vaccination clinics, blood drives, free sports physicals, health fairs, and much more across the state in effort to make new mexico a healthier place to be a kid.
Community soccer clinics: the somos unidos foundation runs 8-10 free community soccer clinics per year, which aims to bring soccer and new mexico united players & coaches into the community across the state, while providing attendees an opportunity to learn soccer drills, spend time being physically active and receive new mexico united giveaways, including t-shirts, stickers and/or soccer balls of their very own. The foundation selects community partners and sites that specifically serve marginalized youth and communities who may not normally have access to paid soccer clinics, camps or club soccer.
Diversity fellowship program: a program designed for women and people-of-color who are interested in a career in sports to learn about the operations of new mexico united. The program has two tracks: front office and coaching. Front office fellows experience hand-on, classroom and game-day onsite curriculum throughout different departments of the business, including merchandise, communications, creative, ticketing and corporate partnerships. Coaching fellows shadow the new mexico united technical team during first team training, review film and strategy sessions, and receive guidance over current real-life coaching challenges with their existing (often youth) teams.
