Sons Of Norway

The organization's primary purpose is to promote and maintain knowledge of norwegian/scandinavian heritage to the members and the general public. The lodge presents classes in the norwegian language and handcrafts. It presents demostrations for making norwegian foods/crafts. The lodge has an ethnic booth at the state fair where volunteer members sell norwegian meatballs ("vikings") and lefse. The lodge suports the sons of norway foundation, norwegian cent-a-day foundation and vinland rehabilitation with both time and money. The lodge supports various local charities and provides individuals in need and offers scholarships to high school seniors.
