Workforce innovation and opportunity act of 2014 (wioa) provides workforce development services to employers and workers through a universally accessible information-driven, american job creation center system and is a national workforce development program that targets individuals living below or near the poverty level, or dislocated workers, as well as youth, to provide them with skills needed to enter the job market, focusing on the energy efficiency and renewable energy industries.
Youthbuild provides disadvantaged youth with the education and employment skills necessary to achieve economic self-sufficiency in occupations in high demand and post-secondary education and training opportunities; opportunities for meaningful work and service to their communities; and opportunities to develop employment and leadership skills and a commitment to community development among youth in low-income communities. Apprenticeship grant is for developing apprenticeship programs across america.
