Angel Oak Elementary is requesting funding to continue to train our teachers in research-based arts integration strategies to directly impact student learning and engagement in the classroom. Our partners at ArtsNow provide this interactive training in all arts areas (including visual art, drama, music, and dance) and have been successful partners with us for the past 7 years. Teachers always have positive reviews of the trainings and we have seen an increase in student achievement because of this.
