Programs
2 programs
State-wide contests and completions, including the stock market game, economics challenge, and personal finance challenge. These competitions provide an exciting activity-based learning methodology which is fun and relevant for students. Prizes, trophies, certificates, and recognition involve teachers, students, and parents, to reward their success.
The sc financial literacy master teacher program incentives teachers to advocate for economics and personal finance in their classroom, school, and district. It has a new cohort of teachers each year (cohort 6 2024-25) that are required to pass a nationally recognized content exam, attend professional development, and lead professional development to their peers about economics and personal finance.
