South Central Adult Services

Outreach program. The Council provided 5,762 units of outreach services to the senior citizens in the six county area. These services include assessing the seniors needs, providing information on various programs available and answering questions seniors have.

Transit. The Council operates 49 vans and busses in the eight county area. Individuals contact the Council to recieve a ride to a specific location or participate in a route ride for medical or other purposes. During the year the Council provided 112929 rides.

The Council also runs a medical prescription program and provides ensure to seniors in the service area. The Council also has general operating expenses.
