Programs

3 programs

Sdaho launched a nurse leadership program in 2020, and it is still going strong in 2024. The nurse leadership program is a customized education program designed to equip hospital and post-acute care nurse leaders and emerging nurse leaders with leadership and operational skills they need to be a successful, supportive leader in their organization. Professionals who attend this program will build skills and confidence in leadership, critical thinking, conflict management, effective team building, and change management. In 2024, we had 28 participants in the program.

Each year, sdaho hosts a rural health leaders conference in ft. Pierre, sd. This conference is intended for leaders of rural healthcare who are involved in strategic planning, operations, and leading teams. The conference sessions cover both federal and state-specific topics that are relevant to healthcare within south dakota. This intimate event facilitates in-depth discussions, idea sharing, and ample networking opportunities with approximately 68 colleagues from across the state.

Each year, sdaho hosts a partners in care, post-acute care conference. This year the conference was held at the convention center in sioux falls, sd. This year's conference included 27 unique break-out sessions, 19 vendors, and approximately 142 attendees.
