The mission of the south dakota dental foundation is to improve the oral health of all south dakotans by educating dental professionals; by educating the public; by aiding in developing the future dental workforce; and, by serving individuals with dental needs.

One smile program: covers discounted costs of the hospital and anesthesiology for children ages eight and under who need to have their dental treatment done in a hospital setting, but their family can't afford the full cost.
