Mission

The South Gate Police Officers Association's mission is to establish a permanent, non profit association for the benefit of all members to aid in the protection of the members by joint action, to aid in the advancement of the quality of law enforcement services provided within the City of South Gate (Hereinafterthe "City") and the science of law enforcement, and to represent regular members, collectively, in all matters relating to their employer-employee relations, including but not limited to grievances to, labor disputes, wages, rats of pay, hours, and other terms and conditions of employment asprescribed by the Meyers-Milias-Brown act, CA Govt. Code Sections 3500-3511, as amended.
