Mission
South oakland citizens for the homeless was formed in 2001. A group of concerned citizens and clergy came together to address issues facing the homeless in oakland county michigan. The vision was to open a daytime drop-in center for the homeless population who use evening and overnight programs but have few places to go during the day. We offer shelter, medical attention, food, clothing and substance abuse services, and community resources and referals. Welcome inn is the name of the daytime center operated by s.o.c.h. During the tax year period.
