The organization conducts regional assessments and monitoring projects. These projects typically lead to on the ground restoration efforts or a study of the effects of a completed project.

The organization conducts regional community outreach and education. The organization hosts the kennedy creek salmon trail, which had over 6,000 visitors in the current tax year who learned more about the life cycle of salmon. In addition, the organization participates in about 20 other local educational efforts such as festivals, workshops, and printed materials.
