Mission
The south seattle college foundation's mission is to change lives by providing students with scholarships so they can pursue quality academic and vocational education. We do this through relationship building, fundraising and stewarding resources.

Strategic support for college programssouth seattle college foundation raises funds and receives contributions for specific college programs and provides assistance with the development of new college initiatives. In 2024, the foundation provided support for various programs inlcuding sustainable building science technology and horticulture/landscaping. In addition, the foundation provided funds for instructional equipment for the arts, aviation, computing, culinary and chemistry programs.
College support and community relationssouth seattle college foundation assists the college with building community relationships and awareness as well as improving infrastructure and faculty skills. In 2024 the foundation provided funding for faculty and staff to attend training and college events and supported faculty attendance at professional conferences. In addition, funds were granted to purchase a language kiosk and for design of new alki kitchen facilities for its culinary program.
