To create, document and teach a new model of inner-city revitalization focused on humane and sustainable practices within city of dallas, texas.

Master planning: ssqdc has taken an active and ongoing role in the development and implementation of a master plan for the south side area. This includes working with various community groups to identify needs and provide support. In addition, ssqdc has been active in the development of a proposed "south side bark park" which was completed in the summer of 2010.cultural services: ssqdc provides ongoing support and counsel to artists and small businesses in the area. Courtesy/safety patrol: over 45 acres are under the constant eye of courtesy staff that patrol the areas within the boundaries of the area providing a sense of security and comfort to residents and property owners. The patrol works closely with property owners, informing them of possible citations or disturbances in the area. Further, the courtesy patrol is in constant communication with dallas police department patrol and serves as the community liaison with the neighborhood crime watch association. Patrol members also respond to fire/life alarms by providing a first response until the arrival of emergency services.business recruitment: ssqdc has been active in recruiting new businesses to the area and working with existing businesses.
