Toassistinthedevelopmentofaneffectivecommunityorganizationthatisgoverneddemocraticallyfundedandsupportedlocallyandworksintheinterestoftheresidentsandinstitutionsofthecommunitiesthatitserves,thesouthsuburbanactionconferenceakassacisorganizedexclusivelyforcharitablereligiouseducational,andscientificpurposesincludingforsuchpurposesasthemakingofdistributiontootherorganizationsthatqualifyasexemptundersection501c3oftheinternalrevenuecodeof1954forthecorrespondingprovisionofanyfurtherunitedstatesinternalrevenuelaw.nopartofthenetearningsofssacshallensurethebenefitof,orbedistributable,toitsmembers,officers,orotherprivatepersons,exceptthatssacshallbeauthorizedandempoweredtopayreasonablecompensationforservicesrenderedandtomakepaymentsanddistributionsinfurtheranceofthepurposessetforthabove.ssacwillneverattempttoinfluencelegislation.
