Mission
The mission of the Southeast Fresno Community Economic Development Association (SEFCEDA) is a community economic development platform to advance and promote prosperity and to improve quality of life for all residents and businesses through engagement, education, and an action plan that executes and enriches cultural identity and attract new residents, employers and investors to Southeast Fresno. Workforce Development and Job Placement. This year SEFCEDA continues to make referrals of Southeast Fresno low-income residents to training institutions and training providers like union organizations. The goal is to improve the skills of local residents to improve their earning power and to place them in better paying jobs in our community. Another project in our community includes the beautification of the Cesar Chavez Boulevard through grants provided by the Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation in low income communities. SEFCEDA continues to participate in the improvement of parks in Fresno.
