The school is a community driven elementary school that nurtures academic excellence, social development, and civic responsibility in every individual. The school seeks to build a strong foundation for learning and living by creating in its students a thirst for knowledge and an enthusiasm for learning.

Sense participated in the cep component of the nslp. All students were eligible to receive a free school lunch and free breakfast. This improves nutrition to students at risk. Potential for attendance rate and test score improvement.
The school was able to provide buses to transport students to and from school which also provides potential improvement in our attendance rate and test score improvement.
