Serrc - alaskas educational resource center provides direct student services, school and district support services, and community services including adult education) to students of all ages throughout alaska.
Programs

Adult/continuing education - this program provides varies programs to support learners of all ages: the ahec program provides health care training, mental health first aid training, cpr training and certification. In fy 24, 223 youth and adults participated in these programs. Serrc's adult education program provides assistance to youth and adults to get their ged and training for job related skills. In 2024, 207 students from 10 different communities received services from serrc's adult education program.
Serrc is the largest provider of related special education services in the state of alaska. During fy 24 thousands of unique students received services in 17 districts encompassing 60 school sites. In fy 24 there were 123 on-site related service district visits and 2,062 hours of teletherapy services. Transition camps were held in various school districts in the state. Transition camps were also held in juvenile justice facilities. During fy 24 780 students participated in virtual or in-person activities. 78 paraprofessional staff and 85 teachers trained in secondary transition best practices.
Administrative support services program - this includes business service assistance to school districts, school facilities and communications support as well as erate support. Student support services includes the alaska academic decathlon, doj stop it programs and rural counseling services.
