The mission of southern arizona land trust inc. Is to promote community interests in pima county and southern arizona by investing in and revitalizing neighborhoods through the development of quality affordable housing.

Support affordable housing and economic development purposes and activities of the industrial development authority of the county of pima and it's affiliates. Accomplishment: developed and constructed 3 single-family homes (bentley) for the purpose of providing new affordable housing to 120% ami or below tenants. 100% of the homes built were added to the existing rental portfolio. The 1m project at s bentley ave provided economic opportunities for subconstractors, vendors and material suppliers. This development activity transformed a donated land parcel into new energy efficient homes and added vauable housing stock to a community that is lacking affordable housing inventory. Sales of selected homes in current rental portfolio provided funding needed to complete this project.
Provide new affordable housing to low income and moderate income families in tucson through the development of landbank properties. Accomplishment: belnor vista: secured water to block iv. Work in progress with the development plans for block i and the onsite sewer system plans. Emery park place: fully development of the 1.3-acre site and completed 80% of four (4) new duplexes in conjunction with affiliate organization. Pinal vista place: sold the property to affiliate organization for a future affordable housing. Elstone ii: design three (3) house plans and working on predevelopment for this future ten (10) lot affordable housing subdivision.
