Dnr 5mt (md dnr forest service): approximately 31.4 acres of native trees were hand planted across two southern area public parks. 5,000 seedlings were planted at calvert cliffs state park in calvert county and 9,100 seedlings were planted at milltown landing natural resource management area in prince georges county.

Rural legacy / repi conservation easement program: rc&d has partnered with the county, the state, & the navy to administer each of their land preservation programs in st. Marys and calvert counties. Rc&d works closely with each of the partners, and the landowners, to negotiate, process, and monitor land preservation easements. In order to effectively administer the land preservation programs, rc&d temporarily utilizes a portion of its operating capital or secure the documents required by the funding organizations during the due-diligence period. Those funds, identified as incidentals, is reimbursed to rc&d from dnr once the easement is approved at the state level. Rc&d continued to comply with all reporting requirements for all three funding organizations.

Other program accomplishments include various projects with state and local county governments.
