Educational programs - these programs will bring information to the west southern pines community that will enhance their lives financially, historically and culturally. In 2023, splht brought a traveling historical exhibit to the wsp center campus.

Museum & cultural programs - splht will open the first, professionally developed african american museum in moore county. In 2023, splht hired a curator to create a permanent exhibit for the museum. The expenses were related to that project.
