Closer unity between area association members. Institute a program of inter-school technology and engineering education activities. Maintain affiliations with state, national, and international technology and engineering education organizations (nysteea and iteea). Improve the status of technology and engineering education in the region 43 area (broome, chenango, and tioga counties). Recognize and reward the achievements of both professionals and pupils within the field of technology and engineering education. Encourage the development ofleadership among technology and engineering teachers by providing a means through which individuals' contributions in research, service and leadership may be both recognized and rewarded.
