Monitors and manages open space conservation easements and fee title lands in imperial, san diego, riverside, san bernardino, los angeles, orange, kern and ventura counties; conducts the native restoration program known as the santa ana river watershed in lieu fee program; monitor and manages native birds, reptiles, fish, amphibians and mammals in southern california; and obtains grants to support some of the above activities.
