The mission of the organization is to open doors to better health in underserved communties through education, outreach and careers.

Work force development: a variety of educational programs are designed and implemented to meet the needs for professional development and continuing education of health and human service providers. Community health workers (chws) as an emerging workforce are trained on core competencies in or order to better serve underserved communities. Community-based experiential training (cbet) support teams of health profession students and connect them with specific population to better understand social determinants of health (sdoh) and how this affects the health and well-being of underserved communities. Health career awareness is delivered to students in from junior high to high schools to encourage and develop an interest in seeking a health career as an opportunity to bring back to their community.
