Southwestern College

The new earth institute serves as the colleges community services program, offering non-degree courses for personal and professional development. It hosts an annual event, the transformational and healing conference, aimed at continuing professional development for graduates and community members.

The college offers counseling services through tierra nueva counseling center (tncc), its community mental health clinic. The counseling center serves as a field training site for student therapists and employs experienced, independently licensed therapists and accepts various insurances. Counseling and art therapy services are tailored to meet the diverse needs and perspectives of individuals. Tncc uses a person-centered approach and is committed to ethical practices, grounded in the colleges values of empathy, love, and kindness.
