Special Needs Support Center Of The Upper Valley

Happenings program is a regularly scheduled weekly programming social activities program for adults with special needs. In addition to regular social programming our team provides case management support and advocacy for constituents.

Aspire program is a recreation program for children on the autism spectrum that is offered regularly throughout the year. Children enjoy activities that encourage the development of communication and social skills through modeling and practice. Individualized skills and goals are identified and worked on through group play and exploration in the community. As an initiative of aspire, snsc has recently partnered with local law enforcement to launch a special needs information program snip and accompanying de-escalation and relationship management training program. The program helps emergency responders identify and respond to vulnerable residents with special needs. Our goal is to develop a program which is easily shared with other interested communities.
