The mission of the sphs music boosters is to support excellence in the music program at sphs & to promote the music program in the community. The fundraising bridges the gap between the funding provided to the music dept. & what is required to ensure that sphs students receive the richest & most complete music education experience available. As the official private fund-raising org. For the sphs music dept., the sphs music boosters encourages & organizes parents' involvement & assists the music director in support of the marching band,concert band,symphonic band,color guard,orchestra,jazz band,winter drum line & winter color guard. Proceeds are used to provide music, instruments, instrument repairs & financial support for competitions. We believes that music is a critical component in the education of our children. The music program is traditionally under funded & through fundraising & volunteering at events & competitions, donations aid in our efforts to advance ed., music & the arts.
