Spokane River Forum

Spokane Waste Directory & EnviroCertified Program Waste Directory: The Spokane Waste Directory is a searchable online database for disposing of various wastes in the Spokane area, including business waste, which lists over 100 vendors and includes a Google map feature. It is a resource from the Spokane River Forum that provides information on where to dispose of specific items like styrofoam, plastic types, glass, and tires. The EnviroCertified Program is a voluntary program that recognizes businesses that are properly managing dangerous waste and conserving resources.

The SRF Conference showcases a broad range of projects happening throughout the community to address critical issues for our watershed. Both keynote speakers and panels area leaders present. Attendance of up to 250 people from government agencies, water purveyors, tribal members, private businesses and citizens join together for this 2 day event.

The Outdoor Watering Nerds site is a website to connect users to professionals and DIY resources for outdoor leak detection, sprinkler repair and retrofit, and landscape design. It includes how-to videos, water saving tips, rebates, classes, and events in Kootenai and Spokane counties. See above for other program descriptions.
