Programs
1 program
During 2024, the organization continued to receive revenue from its massachusetts habitat and heritage vanity license plate (18,700). The plates are available for sale to any massachusetts resident at the massachusetts registry of motor vehicles. The organization continues to market these plates to the public since it is its major source of revenue and because it is required to have at least 3,000 plates issued in order to have its insurance bond released which was required as part of the program. As a result of this marketing effort, the organization incurred advertising and marketing costs (6,145) to allow for the plates to be marketed.it also incurred the cost to pay for a bond to ensure that all the plates will be issued. The bond cost 6,000 for a two year period. The bond was renewed in 2024. The organization also incurred expenses to obtain a forest stewardship plan for the buckland/conway conservation area by spending 3,800. It also spent 1,700 received from a private organization to plant chestnut trees at it granville site.
