In an effort to encourage young playwrights, spotlight held its fourth annual playwrights contest. Four winning short plays were chosen, and mentors worked with the playwrights to assist during the production process. Four high quality plays were produced and included in our season using all youth directors, designers and actors.
Spotlight continued providing access to rehearsal and performance space to a local community theatre group without facilities. Imagine theatre company provides performing arts opportunities to people with special needs.
