Programs

1 program

Spring branch community health center's supportive housing programs provide effective intervention for many different types of households experiencing homelessness, including those with no income, with disabilities, and with poor rental history. Sbchc's supportive housing programs are a combination of affordable housing and support services designed to help individuals and families use housing as a platform for health and recovery following a period of homelessness, hospitalization or incarceration or for youth aging out of foster care. During the 2024 fiscal year, sbchc's supportive housing programs housed 348 heads of household, and served a total of 644 unique clients across its four supportive service programs, permanent supportive housing, homeless prevention, youth homeless demonstration project, and youth transitional housing.
