Square Peg Foundation has two clear missions: To rescue, retrain and re-home horses who needed another chance at life and to teach children who know what it is like to be a Square Peg to turn "I wish" into "I can."

Square Peg rescues unwanted animals- primarily ex racehorses and retrains them to work with families affected by autism and similar neuro cognitive issues. Expenses include horse-care, feed, occupancy, ranch related costs, and salaries.
Square Peg worked with the Golden Gate Regional Center and the North Bay Regional Center to provide job training and services for 16 youth with autism.
