Squires Volunteer Fire Department

The squires volunteer fire department exists to serve the area around squires, as registered with the county commissioners of douglas county for fire suppression and protection as well as other emergency response. This department spends all of it's time in activities tied to emergency response, either in readiness, fund raising, community outreach, or actual incident response. Our expenses are entirely allocated to supporting this activity, large expenses being insurance, utilities, equipment, and maintenance. The activity of the department is entirely focused on supporting the well being and safety of our community and the area in general.
