In july 2022, st. Christopher's was awarded a grant from the office of refugee resettlement (orr") and introduced its newest residential shelter program on the new windsor campus called welcoming arms for unaccompanied minors. This program serves youth between the ages of 13 and 17 who arrive in the united states from all over the world without lawful immigration status. Providing a safe environment, st. Christopher's tries as quickly as it can to help these children find parents, guardians or other sponsors living in the u.s. Who can care for them and support their new dreams. Orr/welcoming arms shelter youth with a capacity of 24-36 at any time.
