Mission
To provide universally accessible singing for all ages on st. John, fostering cultural awareness, a meaningful sense of community, and resilience.
Programs
3 programs
Ocama children's choir: free after school youth choir for up to 20 singers aged 8-15. They perform in large intergenerational events, and also sing out in smaller events to uplift the community and provide support for ceremonial occasions. They make a youtube music video eachspring of a song written by one of the choir members. 15 members in 2024-2025 season.
Senior singalong - weekly singing in the senior centers for all seniors. They perform in senior events and large intergenerational events in franklin powell park twice a year. 40 members.
St. John all-island children's choir - free in-school residency program in which all of st. John's 267 grades k-5 schoolchildren and home schooled children participate. Two large concerts each year.
