Programs
4 programs
Non-secure placement (nsp) program operates under the close to home initiative on our campus and serves a capacity of twelve adolescent males. This program provides a safe and secure residential setting for adjudicated youth, close to their families and neighborhoods. The boys live in family style apartments and attend our on-ground school. The apartment is equipped with cameras and alarms to ensure maximum safety for our youth, staff and the community.
Non-secure detention (nsd) is a group home that is located in a private home in the richmond hill section of queens. The capacity of the group home is ten boys. The program youth are those that have been arrested for low-level crimes and stay in the group home while their cases are proceeding. This is a short-term program with a goal of detaining youth in a home-like setting. The boys attend a special school for nsd youth.
