Moderate-Income Ownershp Homes: Consistent with its mission to expand permanently affordable homeownership opportunities for the Tahoe Basin's moderate-income households, SJCLT has completed construction of 4 homes that were sold to moderate-income households earning no more than 120% of Area Median Income. The homes were sold using the Community Land Trust model providing permanent affordability of these homes. Three of the homes (Riverside Avenue Project) were recently completed and, as a result of the impacts of COVID-related supply shortages and costs increases, the restricted sales prices did not cover all of the construction related costs, which reflects a subsidy by SJCLT.

Sugar Pine Village Apartments: Consistent with its mission to expand housing affordable to Tahoe Basin low-income households, SJCLT is a general partner in this project that will provide 248 units of workforce rental apartments to households earning no more than 60% of Area Median Income. The project is currently under construction and will be developed in 4 phases. The project will also include a Community Hub building that is expected to provide social services to the community using the Hub Navigator model.
