Mission

St. Joseph Home creates a home for infants, children and adults with developmental disabilities who have complex support needs and use a wheelchair for mobility. The home focuses attention on the individual's medical, social, educational and spiritual development through compassionate care and respect for the dignity of life.

Programs

3 programs

St. Joseph Home operates 3 Community Homes, in Sharonville, in College Hill and in Loveland. They each provide support to 4 individuals who do not have the intense medical needs of those living in our ICF, but still need full time support in fully adapted buildings. Residents receive the support needed to belong to and fully participate in their community.

Expenses: $1.8M

St. Joseph Home operates 2 Adult Day Programs, 1 in Blue Ash with on-site programming and 1 in Sharonville that is focused on community engagement activities. Each site can serve 40 individuals. Day Program participants are provided the support needed to engage in experiences and provide contributions to the community based on each participant's own interests and goals.

Expenses: $1.8M

The Harold C. Schott Respite Center provides a much-needed break for families caring for someone with a disability at home. Think of us as a highly-equipped hotel. Our short-term-stay model allows families to travel for work or vacation, run typical errands, reconnect and rest while we take care of supporting their loved one. Nurses and DSPs staff the designated Respite Center 24/7. Alice's House is a community respite program in conjunction with SJH and Hamilton County for emergency and planned respite of individuals with developmental disabilities who typically have no other alternative for temporary housing and care.
