St. Joseph's mission is to deliver compassionate health care to people in need and to be the preferred choice for health care in the chippewa valley.

HOME HEALTH - St. Joseph's Hospital provides home health and hospice services throughout western Wisconsin. We provide services from birth to death. Specialty services include but not limited to advanced wound care, cardiac rehab, fall risk assessment, pain management, pediatric care and stroke care. Home care provides care/education to the patients on service. Skilled nurses evaluate, monitor and teach patients about their medical conditions and assist with administering IV medications, tube feedings, wound care. Home health aides provide assistance with personal care and light housework within the homes. Hospice provides support and care for individuals and their loved ones as they face the last phases of life - limiting illness. The goal of our hospice team is to make patients physically, emotionally and spiritually comfortable so they remain at home as long as possible with minimal disruption to normal activities. The hospice team can help with and offer nursing care, advanced nurse practitioners, medical equipment, home health aide services, medication symptom control and pain relief, short term hospital care as needed, spiritual needs and grief counseling 13 months after the date of death. St. Joseph's Hospital ended operations March 22, 2024.
PSYCHIATRY St. Joseph's Hospital provides behavioral health inpatient services for adults 18 years and older. Substance Use Withdrawal Services and High Intensity Substance Use Residential Treatment Services are available at St. Joseph's Hospital - L.E. Phillips Libertas Treatment Center. In a time of crisis when people are faced with a substance use challenge, they can turn to St. Joseph's for dignified, confidential and compassionate care they need. St. Joseph's Hospital ended operations March 22, 2024.
