Conservation- (1) conservation and related educational grants are offered annually if the restricted fund has sufficient income. (2) we work to protect birds and their habitat by advocating for birds to government officials and agencies, conducting bird surveys in downtown st louis and clayton during peak migration periods, funding species-specific projects, and supporting citizen science efforts. (3) we coordinate volunteer community work days to restore local wildlife habitat.

Education- (1) in-person programming about birds and nature-related topics are offered through local partner organizations (city and county libraries, audubon center at riverlands, nature center) (2) a bird-of-the-week feature goes out via email and facebook every week. (3) we lead birding field trips and beginner bird walks all year in parks, refuges, and other public spaces.
