Programs

2 programs

Outreach meets people experiencing homelessness where they are living. These are places not meant for human habitation like hallways, under bridges, behind buildings, on mountains, in tents, cars or bus huts. This program connects people with local services and starts the forward motion towards self-sustainability.

Svdp resource center is a walk-in center for people to take showers, do laundry, work with diversion and case managers and use the resource center computer lab. Housing plans are developed and worked on before people even come to the shelter. Winter overflow - svdp openedan additional site between december and may to provide a safe warm place for 14 people to sleep on cots and receive case management services. Due to the need a second site was opened between janaury and march , accomodating and additional 20 poeple.
