Hshs st. Vincent hospital surgical services - surgical services is comprised of pre-operative services (preadmission testing/am admit/short stay), 16 functional or suites, 2 open heart or suites and 1 hybrid imaging or suite, central processing/distribution, anesthesia, recovery and endoscopic services. The 24/7 operations are conducted on 4th and 5th floor of the hospital. Endoscopy services are performed 24/7 on 3rd floor and operates 5 endoscopic rooms and a decontamination/reprocessing room. In fy 2024, 7,677 surgical procedures were performed along with 1081 endoscopic cases. Patients cared for both on an inpatient and outpatient basis. The surgical procedures performed are general, orthopedic, neurosurgery, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral - maxillofacial, trauma, cardiac surgery, ent, robotic, vascular, plastics, gyn oncology, dental, podiatry, and organ procurement. Surgical services collaborates and provides services in the heart center, cancer center, women's and children, orthopedic center, trauma center. Anesthesia and central processing/distribution also provides hospital wide services to inpatient nursing, labor and delivery and the emergency department.

Hshs st. Vincent internal medicine - internal medicine services at st vincent hospital medical center are comprised of general medicine, pulmonary, gastroenterology medical, and cardiology medical services. In fy24 a total of 10,384 patients were admitted to the hospital. The majority of these patients, 40%, are admitted through the emergency department.

St vincent hospital provides a wide array of services. Besides the programs listed above, we offer imaging services with access to the latest technology in computed tomography, mri, nuclear medicine and ultrasound. We also have orthopedic services that includes joint care, physical therapy & occupational therapy. Our women's services department provides labor & delivery services, ob clinic, nurse educators and lactation specialist. We provide neonatal, pediatric and general icu as well as intermediate care units. We have a 24 hour emergency department/trauma center with sane nurses available. Our pharmacy is also open 24 hours to meet patient needs. Our pulmonary functions area includes a bronchial lab, respiratory care and a sleep center. We provide dialysis for inpatient. Our home health care department provides care for patients that no longer require hospitalization but who continue care in some way. We provide a wound care center that includes hyperbaric treatments. We also have programs to increase patient care and satisfaction such as case management, palliative care, infection prevention, spiritual services, continuous process improvement and risk management.
