Mission
The St. Vrain Historical Society seeks to preserve the history and heritage of Longmont and the greater St. Vrain Valley by acquiring historic houses, sites, and places and restoring, preserving, and exhibiting the properties encouraging, promoting, and supporting efforts to preserve their history.
Programs

Historic Hoverhome Maintenance and preservation of the historical site. This year Hoverhome hosted 1 Flag Day event and tour, 2 tea program events, 11 public tours, 2 private tours, 1 volunteer meeting. The total attendance included 437 individuals.
The Hover Farmstead Preservation and maintenance of a historic farmstead include a crop demonstration plot, farm garden, chicken house, and mill. Approximately 105 people visited the farmstead.
Old Mill Park Restoration and maintenance of buildings and grounds which are open to the public. Education and promotion of the history of the St. Vrain Valley. The park was open for self-guided tours for the community and 17 Pioneer Days tours for local third-grade students over 8 days. There were approximately 995 visitors in total, but this does not include visitors who visit throughout the year.
