Mission
Stagelight's mission is building a strong rewarding future for young people in the arts.
Programs

Stagelight teams with select schools to provide a musical production for their students. The schools and or the PTAs fund the productions, and Stagelight provides the set, costumes, production staff, and materials. Stagelight is responsible for the creative end of the productions. We produced 6 school shows.
This service involves costume, sets, and prop rental for our shows as well as other area productions. It also includes the cost of building costumes and sets for our productions. The costs include set design and construction, transportation, costume design and construction, cleaning, and storing the costumes.
Stagelight teams with the City of Whittier to provide Whittier's Youth Theatre. We normally perform 2 musicals a year; however, this was their first year to open their theatre since Covid. Therefore, we only performed 1 musical, and we have approximately 175 cast members in our musicals. Stagelight believes that live theatre educates, nourishes, and inspires young minds.
