Stages st. Louis is committed to preserving and advancing the art form of musical theatre through excellence in performance and education. The misson of the stages performing arts academy is to inspire passion, creativity, and curiosity in students of all ages.

Program 2 performing arts academyestablished in 2004, the stages performing arts academy (spaa) delivers comprehensive performing arts education and outreach programming to students throughout the st. Louis area. As the only local academy directly affiliated with a professional theatre company, spaa offers students a unique opportunity to train within a professional artistic environment. Each year, spaa programs engage 4,500 students and community members, with over 2,500 students receiving direct classroom instruction. Committed to accessibility and inclusion, spaa ensures that no student is turned away due to financial need, awarding up to $30,000 annually in scholarship assistance and program underwriting.
