In colorado, stand advocated for updating the 30-year-old public school finance formula to increase the amount school districts receive for each student from a low-income household, each english language learner, and each student with a disability. In addition, stand advocated for a state child tax credit with expanded eligibility that will effectively grow the poorest families' incomes by 20 percent or more. Stand also advocated for increasing the budget allocated to the ninth-grade success grant program and created a common statewide measurement for ninth grade on-track that will be reported annually. Finally, stand advocated for allowing virtual parole, expanding eligibility for sealing records, and increasing funding for phone calls for prisoners.

The national program engaged in organizing and advocacy opportunities to promote equitable public education spending, quality public schools, teacher excellence and diversity, early literacy, and high school success. Activities included creating content and graphics for social media channels and other digital platforms, and placing digital ads that raise awareness and provide audiences with opportunities to act and make their voices heard on these important issues.

Stand operated programs in 6 additional states: illinois, indiana, louisana, oregon, tennessee, and washington.
