To conduct and distribute research, studies, and analysis relating to"duchenne muscular dystrophy ("dmd"). The organization seeks to focus onfinding treatments and an ultimate cure for "dmd", the world's leadinglethal childhood genetic disease. The organization concentrates its researchand outreach activities in communities and neighborhoods most directlyaffected by dmd, with an emphasis on low and middle income, multi cultural,and rural communities. The mission of team saij is to: 1) help fundpromising research in specific areas of muscular dystrophy. 2) createawareness of this condition through fund raising events. 3) to supportother families affected by dmd - both emotionally and financially so thatthey may live a life of comfort and fulfillment.
