Supervised ira living (residential services):starbridge offers residences that are staffed 24/7 by trained and caring direct-support professionals. Our homes and apartments are located in brighton, irondequoit, and rochester, and are certified by the nys office for people with developmental disabilities (opwdd). Supervised residences offer 24/7 support to help individuals with i/dd live healthy, productive, and integrated lives in the community. While providing support in gaining greater independence through individual life plans.

Family & youth education:parent training and information center (ptic) - provides trainings, resources and individual support to parents of children with disabilities, professionals, and youth to help parents and families to understand the special education process, leading to positive outcomes. These services are for children and young adults 0-26 years old. Ptic for transition - families of students with disabilities in nys will be informed about special education systems and processes related to transition services through dissemination of transition-related products and resources.

Other program services include the following:family advocacy:provides a continuum of services to assist parents and families of individuals with disabilities living at home to increase their opportunities for appropriate education, supports, services and community integration. Individualized services:supports individuals to make informed choices, access what they need when they need it, and actively participate in their communities. This program includes housing subsidies and assistance with the management of benefits.housing subsidy program:housing subsidy to support adults with i/dd who wish to live independently in their community who also may be living in poverty. We currently support over 60 individuals with housing subsidies throughout monroe and surrounding counties. At warfield square starbridge acts as a housing support liaison to strengthen relationships and provide and support for tenants within that community and their landlord.community habilitation:starbridge offers one-on-one support to adults and young adults with disabilities to increase independence in activities of daily living (adls). Community hab counselors provide person-centered supports as directed by individuals and their life plans. Skills that they work on include money management, improved health and wellness, cooking, household management, community engagement and budgeting skills.employment:provides employment preparation, training and support for individuals with disabilities seeking employment opportunities. Supports range from pre-employment and placement support through soft skill and job coaching, these can be provided both short term and long term. Starbridge also has staff certified to offer benefit advisement.
