Mission
Our mission is to ensure schools give children of every age an opportunity to get the essential sleep they need to be healthy safe and successful. Our international coalition of over 160 volunteer-led chapters sleep and health experts educators parents students and other concerned citizens is making a real difference with groundbreaking school start time laws affecting hundreds of school districts switching to safer healthier hours.
Programs

Healthy Hours - Sleep-health education materials for students parents teachers health professionals and school administrators. We also provide licensed software purchases for colleges to teach their students sleep-health education.
Implementation Guidance - providing a superintendents toolkit and consulting services for school superintendents to be able to effectively manage the change to healthy and safe school start times in their districts. We also provide guidance at no cost to chapter leaders and interested stakeholders that contact us through our website.
Communications Development Health and Education Policy expenses related to communicating our events strategic planning and working to strengthen public policy with regard to sleep health.
